THE FREDDIE & QUEEN EXPERIENCE are the UK’s Premier Queen & Freddie Mercury Tribute Band who are internationally & critically acclaimed and we are delighted to be welcoming them back to Aboyne theatre.

Ian as Freddie Mercury replicates Freddie Mercury’s live shows with the looks, mannerisms, vocals, charisma, passion, high energy & showmanship that Freddie was so loved & famous for. THE FREDDIE & QUEEN EXPERIENCE is made up of some of the finest musicians in UK, including the well established & accomplished professional Brian May Tribute Andy Wills.
The fully live 5 piece band perform with replica outfits instruments & perform a full recreation of QUEEN’s Live shows, based around QUEEN at there very best, the 86 ‘Magic tour’. It’s simply a great show not to missed!
THE COUNTERFEIT SIXTIES

The Counterfeit Sixties was formed by four experienced musicians with the purpose of performing some of the greatest songs from the most creative period in pop music. Each member of the group has a wealth of experience from playing in various combos, and working with some of the legends of the time.
As the band themselves grew up in the sixties, they are fully aware of the memories that can be evoked by a 60’s show. A full multimedia experience, utilising live action footage of many familiar sights and sounds from the period: from specially selected events, famous people, adverts, and – of course – the original artists themselves, the two-hour performance covers many aspects of the era.
With over thirty bands & singers covered, it is undoubtedly the most comprehensive 60’s show around today.
